What to Expect

A relaxed day, tailored to you.

Your guide will pick you up at your home or a convenient spot. You never have to drive. You'll visit two to five senior living communities, spending about 30 to 45 minutes at each. We introduce you to the staff, walk the grounds, taste the dining options, and ask every question on your list. Most families finish their tour day feeling calm, informed, and ready to choose. Bring a spouse, adult child, or close friend. Extra eyes and ears are always welcome.

Most tour days run 3 to 5 hours depending on how many communities you'd like to visit. We keep the pace comfortable. This is not a rush.

Before we head out, you'll sign a short waiver covering transportation. It's just a couple of sentences, and your guide will walk you through it before you go anywhere.

Bring Someone You Trust

Choosing a senior living community is one of the most personal decisions a family can make. That's why we always encourage you to bring someone along: a son or daughter, a spouse, a close friend. Having a second set of eyes and someone to talk things over with afterward makes the whole process easier and more reassuring for everyone.

What to bring on tour day

You don't need to prepare much. We handle the heavy lifting. But having a few things ready will help us find the best match for you.

  • Your wish list. What matters most: location, amenities, care level, pet policy, price range
  • Questions you'd like answered. We'll make sure every one of them gets addressed
  • Comfortable shoes. You'll be walking the grounds and common areas at each community
  • An open mind. Sometimes the community you least expected turns out to be the perfect fit
